So, what is this tumblr thing anyways?
Right, so I was messing about with my WordPress based blog over at http://castrup.dk, and was once again frustrated by how hard it is to work with at the php level. I really wanted to make the blog feel more like a stream, a place to aggregate all the crap coming out of facebook, twitter etc, and it simply can’t do that, procedural as the api is :(
I’ll probably try to build something at some point or other, but me being really busy, i probably won’t make it this side of doomsday ;)
So, enter tumblr. I like the stream-like feel, the easy feeding of all sorts of content, and if nothing else, I can leech ideas ;)
